PLANT SALE

Speaker:

The Gardens of China: A tour of many of the famed Chinese classical gardens, with their emphasis upon the miniaturization of nature and the garden as locus for spiritual, intellectual and aesthetic experience. Glimpses too of ancient temple gardens, contemporary courtyard gardens and plantings in rural villages.

Passionate Encounters in the Garden: A steamy satire in which the passionate life of the gardener - attractions, flirtations, infatuations, commitments, promiscuities etc. - is told by deploying scores of plant names (Naked Lady amaryllis, the dahlia Big Boy, the rhodo Purple Passion etc.) May include a brief slide show introduction.
