Our largest plant sale of the year will return on May 5, 2024. As always, the sale will feature rock garden and hardy plants supplied by vendors and individual members. Cash only please.
There is no admission fee. We welcome members of the public!
Matt Mattus, our Speaker on April 14, was kind enough to redo his presentation, Challenging Convention: Recent Trials, Experiments and Discoveries in the Garden, so we could record it for our members who were not able to see it at our monthly meeting. Members may access the recording here.
The Annual ORG&HPS Garden Tour

from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
This year's tour is in and around Port Perry. This charming, historic town is on the shores of Lake Scugog, formed in the 1830’s by the damming of the Scugog River. Take a 400-series highway part of the way, and then you can leave the highway and take a more scenic route to the gardens, directly east of Newmarket and north of Oshawa. Non-members may take the tour, but must be accompanied by a Society member.
