We are all gardeners ....enthusiastic beginners, accomplished hobbyists and professional horticulturists from across Canada, many parts of the United States and overseas.
Focus:
- alpine plants
- related hardy perennials
- creation of rock gardens
- suitable habitats for all hardy plants
- exchange of ideas and activities with other plant societies
- support for the planting and care of rock and hardy plants in botanic and public gardens
Membership Benefits:
Meetings
- usually on the second Sunday of the month at Toronto Botanical Garden,
- 1:30 to 4 p.m.
- outstanding speakers, Members Showcases and auctions
Plant sales
- 3-4 seedling and plant sales each year
- unusual and choice plants
- very reasonable prices
- many plants would never be found in commercial nurseries
Seed Exchange
- seed from members' own gardens and international botanizing trips
- choose from a very extensive list
- up to 60 packets for just $15

- Journal is published ten times a year.
- includes articles about plants, our speakers' talks, descriptions of gardens, book reviews and announcements.
Garden visits
- informal visits, organized summer tours and occasional picnics at the gardens of members.
