 Member's Showcase: Virginia Hildebrandt

Virginia's talk is about. 'Putting troughs to bed'.  It isn't the only way, but has worked for me.  I have been asked to discuss my method in the past and thought this might help those who were not sure.

Virginia is a lifelong gardener, with thanks to an English granny.  She worked in Medical Technology first and after marrying Henry and having two children, went back to school and earned a B.Sc. (biochemistry), M.Sc and Ph.D. in plant physiology.  She worked at Stokes Seeds for 10 years and cloned plants in my own laboratory for the wholesale trade. Virginia met members of ORGS at either Canada Blooms or another garden show, bought some seeds and never looked back.  Virginia joined ORGS and served as vice-chair, chair, past chair and worked on the Program committee for a while too.
