From 1966 to about 2010 I averaged at least one trip a year to Western mountains.

Many were organized by the late Barrie Porteous and the core group consisted of Marion Jarvie and the also late Trevor Ashbee.  Leadfoot Barrie would not let anyone else drive, and I was not as good at spotting roadside flora as the other two, so to make up for all the Kleenex bushes I got excited about, I took on bringing a collection of jokes and funnies.  Since retirement I have also digitized all my slides, which run continuously on my desktop.  All these wonderful memories make me smile a lot, accounting for my wrinkled face.
