Niagara College Scholarship Recipient Jesse Mc Linton 2024

Below you can read the feedback we received from the recipient of our Niagara College scholarship, Jesse Mc Linton. If you would like to see the application Jesse submitted please read it here.

Dear Lee and the Ontario Rock Garden & Hardy Plant Society,

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for selecting me as the recipient of the Society's scholarship through Niagara College. It is truly an honor to receive this generous award, and I want to assure you that it will have a deep impact on both my education and furure career.

This scholarship will allow me to pursue my studies with a greater sense of security, as it will help cover the costs of tuition and other educational expenses. As I work towards my degree in horticulture, I am particularly focused on growing native and hardy perennials, a field that excites me due to the beauty and ecological impact. With your support, I can continue to deepen my knowledge and skills in this area, preparing for a future where I can contribute to environmentally conscious gardening and landscaping practices.

Once again, thank you for believing in my potential. Your support will not only aid my education but will also bring me closer to realizing my dream of becoming an expert in perennial growing and design.

Sincerely,

Jesse
